One of the military benefits of CyberTex is having access to on-site veteran counselors for any assistance veterans may need to reach their scholastic goals. Things like admissions, academic scheduling, and applying for financial aid can be frustrating for a lot of students, especially when new to college or unsure about their major. Feeling indecisive or confused in the beginning stages of college education is fairly normal, though stressful and distracting, often leaving many students feeling as though they are a step behind everyone else. At CyberTex, we think it is beneficial to have access to an academic counselor throughout your scholastic excursion. When a student is given more information about the options available in college, it provides them with a better understanding for what degree program would best fit their specific strengths and professional ambitions.
Whether you're in school working towards new opportunities in your military career or studying for a nonmilitary career, we are here to help you complete the program you need to get where you want to go. At CyberTex Institute of Technology, we strive to send our veteran students off with confidence in their ability to reintegrate their new skills, be it inside or outside of uniform services, in addition to their degree.
Our veteran counselors provide a requisite education training service called Career Exploration, using a combination of vocational counseling and planning to support you in making academic choices that are productive for your career path. In addition, we provide job search assistance to aid veteran students in obtaining and sustaining appropriate employment. We also have a vocational evaluation service designed to assess your individual abilities, skills, interests and needs, as well as vocational training programs to help you achieve a rehabilitation goal.
