Our network administrator program is comprised of classes designed to build moderate-level skills in network design, administration and configuration. A network administrator takes care of all computer hardware and software systems, keeping everything working efficiently at all times. They are responsible for designing, organizing, installing, and maintaining effective data networks and infrastructures. Having a Network Administrator on-staff is essential to organizations of all different kinds, which provides many diverse opportunities for work. As with most tech jobs, the position of network administrator requires adaptability as well as a wide range of technical knowledge. Primary Duties of a Network Administrator

  • Operate on desktop computers, routers, printers, firewalls, switches phones, patches and servers
  • Design and deploy networks
  • To design and monitor network security systems
  • Examine and improve all tech system performance
  • Maintain network facilities in individual machines
  • Determine network requirements
  • Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet and intranet systems
  • Upkeep maintenance on individual machines such as drivers and settings of personal computers phones and printers
