Are you on active duty or a veteran looking to obtain technical training? Did you know that there are educational benefits for veterans and active-duty personnel? Let CyberTex match you with the veteran benefits that can help you prepare for a technical career. So, are you asking yourself, “Can I get veteran benefits for tech school?”

Can I Get Veteran Benefits for Tech School?

Yes, you can. To thank our current active duty and veterans of the military, we proudly work with government agencies that offer veteran benefits so they can complete a technical program at CyberTex.

You probably have many transferable skills that would make sense for a job as a network engineer, HVAC technician, nurse, or medical assistant. Let CyberTex prepare you for the next chapter in your life and enjoy the benefits of your military service.

What Veteran Benefits are Available at CyberTex?

Military benefits are available for active-duty personnel, veterans, and their dependents. Some of the benefits CyberTex offers include:

Post 9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33)

The Post-9/11 GI Bill® helps military veterans pay for school. This includes payment of tuition and fees, a monthly housing allowance, and a stipend for books and supplies. Additional fees may include a college fund payment, rural benefits, or Yellow Ribbon payments.

Veteran Readiness and Employment (Chapter 31)

Benefits are offered to veterans with service-connected disabilities that limit their ability to work. The Veteran Readiness and Employment program helps veterans identify employment options and addresses their education needs.

Montgomery GI Bill® Active Duty (Chapter 30)

It offers educational benefits for up to 36 months. The military benefits can be used for degree and certificate programs. Veterans must be honorably discharged, have a high school diploma or GED, and meet specific requirements.

Montgomery GI Bill® Selected Reserve (Chapter 1606)

A military benefits program that provides up to 36 months of education benefits to members of the Selected Reserve. Reserve members may use the benefits for vocational school training, on-the-job training, apprenticeship programs, tuition assistance, correspondence courses, and national tests.

Dependents Educational Assistance (Chapter 35)

Veteran benefits program for the survivors and dependents of military veterans who are disabled or died while on Active Duty. The program offers dependents up to 45 months of education benefits for degree and certificate programs, apprenticeships, and on-the-job training.

Transition Assistance Program (TAP)

A veteran benefits program that provides information, resources, and tools to Service members and their loved ones to help them transition from military to civilian life.

Post-Vietnam Era Educational Assistance Program VEAP (Chapter 32)

A government-match program for veteran educational benefits that extends benefits to active-duty personnel and veterans who enlisted in the military between January 1, 1977, and July 11, 1985.
