If you want to attend CyberTex, you may already know how much we value learning and growth. But when it comes to advancing your skills, where you choose to train makes all the difference. Many people start by attending community colleges or four-year universities, thinking that’s the only way to build a career. However, there’s another path that’s often smarter, faster, and more rewarding, CyberTex. And because we are recognized by the Certified Higher Education Professional (CHEP) program, the value of that education goes even further.
What CHEP Means for You
CHEP is a recognition that sets CyberTex apart from many other trade schools. It means the instructors, leadership, and programs meet strong standards of quality and professionalism.
For CyberTex employees, that matters. CHEP recognition gives confidence that the training offered isn’t just quick, but also credible. You can trust that your time in class translates into real-world skills that employers recognize. It also means the instructors are trained educators.
A Faster Way to Build Your Future
A big advantage of CyberTex is that you can start your career in months rather than years. Traditional college can take years before you can start working in your field. This works perfectly for people who want to move forward without putting life on hold. Instead of spending four years in college, you spend months learning through hands-on practice. You finish faster, get back into the workforce sooner, and can apply what you learned right away.
Career Support That Actually Works
CyberTex offers career services designed to connect you with job opportunities and professional contacts in your field. Our career services department helps with resumes, interview preparation, and job placement support. Employers in the community know the CyberTex name and respect the quality of its graduates.
Industry Certifications That Build Credibility
CyberTex also helps you prepare for industry-recognized certifications like CompTIA A+ and Security+. These credentials prove that you can do the job, because certifications are often the key to getting noticed by employers.
A Program That Fits Your Life
Most people who choose trade school may have other personal responsibilities. CyberTex understands and offers flexible schedules to allow you to keep a balanced life. Whether you attend classes during the day or in the evening, you can take care of responsibilities while you train.
Quality You Can Trust
When a school is recognized by CHEP, it’s held to a higher standard of accountability. That means if something isn’t working, it gets addressed. Instructors are regularly reviewed, programs are updated, and students’ feedback is taken seriously. For CyberTex employees, this adds an extra layer of trust. That means you are learning within a system that values your growth and measures success by your achievements.
Industry Certifications That Build Credibility

Why Trade School Is Better Than 4-Year College
There’s a common idea that only a traditional 4-year college degree leads to success. That may be true for some, but in trade careers, skills and certifications matter more. CyberTex proves that with the right training, you can build a strong career without spending years in college. Employers want people who can do the work, fix the problems, and make a difference from day one.
