The Training:
Students learn the basics of both clinical and administrative skills. Clinical skills include, but are not limited to the following: taking medical histories, preparing patients for examinations, assisting the physician during the exam, collecting and preparing laboratory specimens, drawing blood, and taking electrocardiograms.
Students are also fully trained as Medical Assistant Professionals. This enables them to perform both front and back office procedures in a physician’s private practice, group medical practices, or long-term medical care facilities.
